Coach Tippery commented after the match, “The weather conditions were not ideal, but it was great to finally get playing. We have an experienced team and have been able to get in 15 or so good practices. We were definitely getting a little tired of playing against each other, so it was good to see how we matched up against a different opponent.”
Upcoming matches for the Lady Lions are: Wednesday, April 8 at North Daviess, 4:30 p.m.; Thursday, April 9 South Knox at Loogootee, 4:30 p.m.; and Saturday, April 11 Loogootee Invitational at Loogootee, 9 a.m.
